When we got to the campsite mostly everybody was shivering and couldn't wait for the tents to be pitched and go to sleep. We set up the tents and slept. The next day arrived and we cooked breakfast and while we were cooking breakfast Michael Popp and Stephan Chang were trying to start a fire for the "Camping" merit badge. Most of the people that went to this campout were standing around the fire pit waiting impatiently for them to get a fire going. eventually they did get a fire going and we ate our breakfast. When we were doing KP the sunset and in a few minutes the suns light would hit our campsite and warm up the place a little. We did "Compass Course" but not a lot of people passed because there was this chain that was used for the compass course so you had to start on a number and end on another number. It was lunch time and we ate our lunch and did KP. We returned to the compass course area and were surprised to find that the chain was gone. The older scouts didn't have much to do so they helped the new scouts study for requirements. Dinner came and we ate our dinner and did KP. By this time it freezing. Some people were sleeping, playing cards, talking, and for the lucky ones they found a fire at the adults campout in the fire pit and was kept warm. The next day came and we cooked breakfast and we did KP. We took down the tents and we folded them and slipped them into the bag. To make things go faster some people were searching the campsite if we left any more trash on the ground and the others helped load the gear into the cars. Meanwhile parents were coming to drop us of at Los Coyotes. We are all set to leave and in a few minute we left.
