CHRISTMAS PARTY 2000
On December 19, 2000, a good time was had by all in the annual Boy Scout Christmas Party. Instead of the traditional location of Shakey's Pizza, we went to Cypress Family Pizza. Instead of the old-school arcades and childish games Shakey's provided us with, we got newer arcades and better food from our new locale. The food and service could have been better, but all problems aside, that night was a memorable experience for all of Troop 650. Wayne Kao commented,"It was PHAT!. After dinner, we traded gifts in hope of a greater or more aspiring present. Among the presents given and received was a radio/flashlight, gift certificates, and a lantern. Our Senior Patrol Leader, Michael Popp, received the highly coveted, Strange Water Canteen; it has been in the circulation of Troop Gift-Exchanges for many years. Once again, the Troop had a successful Christmas Party that pleased many of us. Hats off to Cypress Family Pizza.
